Hey u glorious bunch.
Its something iv sworn never to give into, and guess what, iv failed bloody miserably. If your not familliar with the world wide sensation that is now Twitter, its basically self endulged people posting every 2 seconds on their own personal “message board” of what it is they’r doing, such as “Joanne is eating rice”, or “tony is drawing the dole”…
In order to stay upto date with your chosen individuals life choices you simply head to Twitter.com and sign up, then become a “follower” of that individual. Its basically a load of poo, but im easily sucked into these things(along with alot of the other redfm posse)!
If you decide to hop on the Chris curtis bandwagon and “follow” me, 1 kitten will be saved from going through a paper grinder each time, and you dont want to be the reason a poor little kitten dies, DO YOU???
A word of warning tho, i may possibly be updating my “status” whilst intoxicated, therefore in order to follow, parental discretion is advised. Gonna be adding bits and pieces, including vids, funny bits, and my own magical quotes that happen to me SO often!

Howdi HO!!
Right its time for me to return back to this dwelling we call “Da Blog like”, as iv been away for a while. I apologise to all who have stopped by in search of splendid treasures, and were dissapointed to see the absence of “stuff”…Iv been on Hiateus!
Theres a section in this blog page thingy where i can check my stats on daily visits and hit numbers each day, basically all ye lovely people who take time out of yer “busy” schedule to see if iv anything remotely entertaining; well the number pops up in front of me. I just checked over the history and DAMN, people are actually on this thing daily!!! WHY???? hahahaha Maybe you just got lost, or typed “tickets to the gun show” into Google…
None the less i promise to get back here as much as possible to keep you upto date on everything. As my main show is on Sunday, when im not covering for one of the homies, im attempting to save the world one laugh at a time. (that was my witty attempt at a metaphor…i know, GENIOUS)
To be honest theres not much to update you on really. If you listen to my show on Sundays, im usually splurring my daily personal problems or situations all over the radio! If you are a regular listener, out of choice, then thank you! You should know everything already seeing as i enjoy complaining! OH on that note…MY CLUTCH ISNT BROKEN…YEAHHHH!!!! Thanks to everyones advice on how to NOT break a clutch!
Oh and…
…Really…I DO!!!! and as you can see…iv kept the beardedness…although i dont like the comment that was thrown at me in the office, whilst covering for Dave Mac last week. “Oh look its Dave Macs brother”!!!
so anyways….(chris is now being interuppted by J-LO making love to some uber tanned man by a waterfall on TG4, right behind him)
Im back…shes swearing alot in that scene…think its the movie “Angel Eyes”…Lets NOT watch it.
Actually I got quite excited in my belly today when the sun was out…i got to wear glasses and NOT look like a dickhead, seeing as it was sunny. NOTHING better than driving my Lambro-Guiney(the guinneys version) around the city with the summer “hand bag” house blaring. I LOVE SUMMER. It makes EVERYTHING better. I even saw an ice-cream van and smilled, but then he cut infront of me so i threw him the finger and shouted a little. All in all it was exciting.

OH speaking of Ruairi O’Hagan from Sport, we regularly hang out outside the work place of REDFM, he calls them dates, i call them business meetings(as im paid to take him out; long story)
Today was one of those days and he had an EPIC FAIL!!!
Firstly he decided to be upper-class, daycent, and super, so booked his tickets online, even when he knew there would be NOBODY there…it was 2pm!!! I then picked him up and he instructed me to head to Douglas cinema to watch the new flic “I love you man”…i was excited…so i drove. At arriving at the entrance i was approached by a parking guy who gave me a ticket to park inside for free, basically so we werent mooching off the cinema for free parking and not even going to the movies. So this dude asked me to get it stamped inside at the ticket office for prove…therefore not having to pay on the way out.
Ruairi approched the box office and handed the lovely lady his card….she swiped it, answered with “theyr not booked”. Ruairi then proceeds to go into angry arrogant condesending mode to the lady, insisting we book them and its all her fault. She once again swiped, and said NO! Ruairi responded with “il get the confirmation number form my e-mail”, and swaggered off! we left, went to the nearest internet place, he checked the confirmation number, before Ruairi noticed he booked it for the gate in town…WRONG CINEMA =
EPIC FAIL!!!!!!!!!!

I haven’t posted for a while, but what better way to get the ball rolling again than to publicise an exciting event – Beard Watch 2008.
After much consideration and deliberation, I decided to put the issue of cultivating a beard to the listeners of Cork’s Red FM on Chris Curtis’ Sunday Show. A text poll was conducted, and the people of Cork voted unanimously in favour of me turning into a hobo.
In a show of admirable solidarity, Curtis has decided to the defy his altar boyishness by joining me in my quest and we shall post regular updates on our progress.
There are several reasons for this fool-acting:
(1) the recession (Mach 3s are bloody expensive)
(2) the weather (beards are renowned for their quality of facial insulation)
(3) laziness (shaving is so inconvenient, especially when, like me, you’re a direct descendent of a bunch of apes)
I must point out that I have tried, and failed, to grow a beard in the past. However, I was 15 at the time so that may explain it.
Any tips about growing a beard would be greatly appreciated. I’m worried about getting a horrible, itchy rash so it’d be great if some experienced bearded-individual could allay those fears.
